Kidima, May 6 (MExN): A thanksgiving Holy Mass was held for Sister Kedukhole Christina Kiso, Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany (BS), at her ancestral village Kidima on May 6. Christina, who professed vow for nun for the life in service of God on April 25 in Kolkata, is the second sister from St Xavier’s Church Kidima.
Reverend Father Victor D’ Mello SJ, principal of Loyola Higher Secondary School, Jakhama, was the main celebrant with Reverend Father Thomas Muttathil, Parish Priest at the thanksgiving mass held at St Xavier’s Church Kidima.
A press release informed that Reverend Father Victor D’ Mello offered special prayer for Sister Christina. “Wealth and money do not give lasting peace and joy without God’s grace,” he stated, asking the faithful to help the Sister through their prayers.
Sister Harisha, BS, Principal of St Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, Viswema also shared her joy and happiness on behalf of the congregation and urged against stopping children who wish to join missionary field. Sister Christina shared her life testimony.
