The thanksgiving service cum celebration of ULB elected councillor K Asangla Jamir took place today at Chandmari Gorkha Public Panchayat Hall, Kohima. Jamir was elected to Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) in the recent ULB Election 2024 on Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) party ticket from Ward 13.
In her speech, Jamir assured to give her best service for the welfare and overall development of the colony. She appreciated all the members of Ward 13 for reposing faith on her and elected her to represent them in the KMC. Seeking cooperation and support from all the members of the ward, Jamir said, “My door will be always open for all of you. Together, we will march forward and make the colony a better place to live in.”
Former minister Dr Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire, NDPP 9th Kohima town AC president Krodiho Kennao and NDPP Kohima Region General Secretary Kechagulie Kense also delivered short speech.
