The Rengma Nagas had always been harrassed, tortured, heavily taxed and even killed for no reason, cause or any guilt committed by the Rengma Nagas. The armed Karbi terrorists and with the help of the Karbi politicians and organisations, which is not acceptable and highly condemnable of their insanity and barbaric behaviour meted out towards the Rengma Nagas.
On 9th June 2013, the self styled (KPLT) Karbi Peoples Liberation Tigers etc had even unprecidented ultimatum served to the un -armed innocent villagers to identify Karbi tribe or leave Rengma Hills at gun point, which is an act of cowardice that one or the other day, they may return to their ancestaral lost tribe who does not know who they are where they belong or exist. Every section of the civil society should seriously view and condemn such an in-human act treated by those outfits and also urge the Rengma people not to give away their rights by any means without the knowledge of the 'parent body' or else necessary steps will be initiated or dealt with and assured need of intelligetia to (RNPC) and defence strategy to safeguard our country and its people.
Further, appeal to the Govt. of Assam not to harbour KLPT terrorists who are trying to abrogate an age old Ahom-Naga relationship and ties and also revoke the 'nothing to do ultimatum' served by the second class outfit as demanded by the Rengma Hoho, Rengma Students Union, Rengma Mothers associations and all the Civil societies.
Further, gratitude to all the individuals and organisations who stood by them with selfless moral and material support to the aggrieved villagers who were outcasted from their ancestral Home land.
