The right way to achieve our international objective

When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.  (Deuteronomy 32:8). I believe this scripture shares us too.

Fellow Nagas, God the Creator of the universe has graciously given us everything of our needs through our forefathers with His purpose to gratefully serve Him and magnify His name as a Nation among the Nations in the world. So, when the British intruders proposed “A new reform” to our forefathers in 1918, our forefathers gallantly replied, “We need no reform, we are complete. We have everything what we need.”  Why shouldn’t we then stand and do the right like our forefathers?

Then in 1929, the Naga Club submitted a Memorandum to Simon Commission, saying, “we understand that you want the Nagas to become part of India. We have nothing do with India and we do not want anything, “Leave us alone.”

We are inherently a sovereign independent people and a free nation of diverse village republics. Thus, our people (our ancestors) constituted the Naga National Council (NNC) in February, 1946 to safeguard the sovereignty and freedom of our people as a whole. Thus the mandated Naga National Council (NNC) had laid the foundation and all vital historical pillars of our Nation, except roofing.

Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee (Deuteronomy 32:7).

Brothers and sisters, we are not Indians and our land ‘Nagaland’ is never a part of India. Hence we have sacrificed tens of thousands precious lives and our all in defence of our Nation. The sovereign birthright of our nation is undisputed and inalienable. We have our historic Days, National Yehzabo (constitution), National Flag, National Anthem and our all. But many Nagas have gone away from the right way of the old path and created themselves various factions and gone astray like prodigal son. So they must return to father.

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. (Jeremiah 6: 16). This Bible verse was given by the Holy Spirit to Col. Withonang, Chaplain of Naga Army for the Nagas to undertake.

Fellow friends, everything has its own right way to exist like solar system and railway line, lest it crashes. Therefore, I honestly appeal to our people to work out the enumerated points to achieve our International objective as the right of our Nation is very clear/clean like spotless limpid water:

1.    Our people must reunite under the banner of the real NNC/FGN and follow the footprints of NNC President A.Z. Phizo, father of the Naga Nation.

2.    The Sham election conducted by India in Naga territories should be eradicated

3.    The talented and capable young Nagas should be sent to all Nations in the world to make known the right of our Nation.
4.    Peace and non-violence should be continued in our fatherland.

5.    We should not waste our time for nothing in talking with India, the aggressor. We’ll go on our own way straight towards the arena of the world to achieve our goal. So that all the artificial boundaries and the so-called Acts like AFSPA, Unlawful Activities Prevention Acts, FMR and this or that barbaric Laws of India imposed against our people will automatically go to the dustbin of the world’s history and that will be the final victory of our Nation.

A.Z. Phizo, President, NNC said: Be it known that our people will not be deceived if India conducted her so-called “state election” one thousand times to legitimize her occupation of Nagaland. It cannot succeed. When I first came to England someone asked me, “Are the Nagas a tribe or a Nation? I had no hesitation in telling him that we are a Nation, to which his spontaneous reaction was, “I understand.”

Further President A.Z. Phizo said, “The future of our country belongs to the youth and I have no doubt that our youth will respond to the challenge of defending the country”.  He said, “Because of size, a big country does not have the right to invade a small country. I absolutely certain that we shall win because the right is on our side.” Please see Phizo’s letter to NSF dated, 1st December, 1983.

May the Almighty God continue to protect our people and Nation.
