CHÜMOUKEDIMA, JULY 17 (MExN): The White Owl, an independent bookstore, has launched a new website — www.thewhiteowl.in — offering exclusive access to books from Nagaland, the organisation said in a release on Friday.

The platform aims to bring Naga literature and culture to a wider audience, sharing the voices, traditions, and literary works of the Naga people with readers across India and globally.

“The launch of this platform marks more than just the expansion of the bookstore. It opens a portal into a living archive of our stories and the evolving literary landscape of Nagaland,” Viketuno Rio, Director of The White Owl, said in a press release.

The website features a curated catalogue of books, including traditional folktales, historical narratives, children’s books, academic works, and contemporary literature by Naga authors. It offers direct ordering facilities with shipping available both within India and internationally.

The White Owl said it hopes the platform will serve as a dedicated space where stories from Nagaland can reach and inspire readers worldwide, while inviting educators, cultural enthusiasts, and the Naga diaspora to reconnect with the region’s literary heritage.
