Theheba is the only food stall running throughout the year at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama. It is manned by one local entrepreneur, Pusi Yakhro and his family from Kigwema village.
During Hornbill festival, hundreds of stalls are set up for making money. But then, those stalls are mostly seasonal as they automatically get closed once the state Hornbill festival is over. However, there is one restaurant which has never given up its venture known as ‘Theheba’, located at the uphill of the Heritage Village even after the hornbill festival is over.
The owner said it is the only food stall at Kisama where a variety of fast foods, drinks, rice beer and local delicacies are simultaneously being served at all times. He said during the Hornbill festival they earned up to Rs. 40,000/- per day on an average but in other days it goes down considerably.
