Dr Andrew Ahoto Sema, president Nagaland state unit of National People’s Party said that there is no substitute to hard work “as such one should have the tenacity- perseverance, determination which will make way for success.”

He said this while gracing an evening of ‘Ethnic Fashion Show’ as special guest, which took place on March 19 last at Phek Town under the  aegis of Vogue Entertainment Nagaland in association with Phek district administration, DLCW- Mahila Shakti Kendra, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Phek.

He said that politics is not bad but it is the few selfish leaders who instead of good governance look for their own selfish glory and elevate themselves rather than the actual cause for what they have been elected for.

In this, he called upon the youth to elect good and upright leaders “if you want to see a bright future for your generation and beyond.” He said that ego is the biggest hindrance for one’s downfall “so one should take proper step to suppressing it,” while adding that leaders must have integrity.

He also urged the youth to do what is right “not what is easy.”
