Dimapur, September 12 (MExN): As per the public general meeting resolution held on July 8, 2009, it is notified to all the general public that the name of Thilixu New/Inatoku Village has been changed into Mishikito Village. It is also notified that Mishikito Village falls outside the jurisdiction of Thilixu Village vide order dated June 24, 2009 of the office of the D.C Dimapur.
Further in pursuance to order dated August 13, 2009 through the initiative of the EAC, Chumukedima, Dimapur, a joint meeting of Thilixu Village and Mishikito Village with administration and police had a discussion on the prevailing situation, wherein it was resolved to maintain peace and tranquility in the spirit of forgive, forget and brotherhood between Thilixu Village and Mishikito Village. In a joint press release Shikato Shohe, Secretary and Atoshe Yeptho, Chairman Mishikito Welfare Committee also notified that Inaho Z and Tokishe Achumi have presently been conferred the GB’ship of Thilixu Village and as such they have no right to interfere into the territorial and other matters of Mishikito Village.
Therefore, any person selling or purchasing of land & obtaining N.O.C Residential certificate & other related documents within the jurisdiction of Mishikito Village (un recognized) erstwhile Thilixu New/Inatoku Village without the prior knowledge of the GB and Mishikito welfare committee shall be doing so at his/her own risks.
