Dimapur, April 16 (MExN): The Thongsonyu Village Council will remain dissolved as per the order of the Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang until further order by the DC, informed the president of Thongsonyu Village Public Organization, in a press note. The release has informed the general public and non-governmental organizations that no correspondence or payment for developmental activities concerning the village should be made through village council, since ‘the council have been dissolved, and they have no authority for the village administration.’ The release added that the release of VDB funds should be stopped till further order. The release accompanied a government order supporting the dissolving of the village council.
