Thongsunyu, October 30 (MExN): Advisor for Animal husbandry & Veterinary Services and Women Resources Development, R Khing inaugurated the panchayat hall at Thongsunyu village on October 27.

He further stressed that the road construction through Sendenyu village to Parashen where the first Naga flag was hoisted will benefit the area in many ways.

Deputy Commissioner Tseminyu, Dr Zasekuolie Chusi, IAS spoke on the potential of the area like tourism and other Agro based activities- the attraction being the Nsonji Lake, biodiversity, conservation, and Parashen which has a historical value to all the people. He told the gathering that they have to go the extra mile to develop the villages as the government can only help those people who help themselves.
