Dimapur, September 25 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed shock and condemnation over a viral Facebook post by WJ Longkumer in the group “Unified Naga Land For Christ,” which targeted Prof. Rosemary Dzüvichü with highly “vulgar and profane language.”
In a statement, the NSCN said the post went beyond a personal insult, constituting a direct attack on women’s dignity, modesty, and character—a behaviour deemed unacceptable in Naga society and the modern world.
A statement from MIP, NSCN/GPRN also clarified that the accused had “shamelessly” tried to connect himself as a member of NSCN.
“He is in no way connected to NSCN in any manner whatsoever,” it asserted, adding that, for his recklessness in bringing NSCN into disrepute, “we shall take deemed necessary action to deal with him in a befitting manner.”
