Dimapur, April 10 (MExN): The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees Association (CANSSEA) has flayed the behavior of the miscreants who attempted robbery and threatened the DDO at the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare on Friday afternoon.
The CANSSEA in a condemnation note issued by its president DR.K.David Sema and general secretary Vekho Vero has stated that it supports the H&FW Department without any restraint, as the attempt on the “officers who are directly in concern with our health is a threat to our very own lives. We do not support any person /persons who go against the living process that God almighty has given to us.”
“To claim that independence for the people of Nagaland does not require to kill or extort a fellow brother for whom you claim to bring freedom to. The employees of the state are trying their best to give the best of services to needy and the poorer sector of the state. If your concern is for the best for the people of Nagaland then do the best as you can, let the people live in peace ,let the people serve each other in harmony, let the people of Nagaland have faith in you, let them not fear you but instead let them love you. Do not create fear to the people that you promised to bring love and peace to. Let us not bring greed before sacrifice for the love of the nation,” the CANSSEA stated in the note.
It further said that the decision of the department of Health and Family Welfare to close the office as a token closure is a right decision and the CANSSEA will go to any extent to support its constituent association in the right perspectives.
“The CANSSEA also thank and appreciate the Home Guards personnel who had fearlessly taken timely action and safeguarded the employees on that fateful day. We wish that the good defense services would prevail in the near future,” it said.
The Rhiepfu Khel Meriema has also condemned the incident.
In a press note issued by the GB of Rhiepfu Khel, Meriema Village, Neiyalie Miachieo stated: “In strongest term, we condemned and convey our anguish over such a criminal act being carried out in the name of National worker and pleaded that all the right thinking citizens to come out and condemned such act.”
Also, the Rhiepfu Khel Meriema has request the national workers and the concerned authority to arrest those culprits and award suitable punishment at the earliest.
Moreover, in a separate press note, the All Nagaland Health Complementary Service Association has condemned the assault and intimidation on DDO Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, allegedly by two miscreants claiming to be FGN (Peace campers) on March 8 inside the office premises. The Association has further urged all right thinking and civilized societies to condemn such acts.
