
Kohima, October 25 (MExN): Security Forces along with police have arrested 3 “arms dealer” in two separate operations on October 22 in Dimapur district.
As per a press release from PRO HQ IGAR (N) informed that two arms dealers with contraband were arrested at general area Nagarjan, Dimapur on October 22.
Based on specific input, security Forces in a joint operation with state police apprehended two arms dealers and recovered four point 32 pistols with magazines and Spasmo Proxyvon Tablets worth approx Rs1.5 lakh, it said.
The apprehended individuals have been handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur District for further investigations, it added.
Meanwhile, in a separate release, the PRO informed that two arms arms dealer was arrested from general area Selouphe village during a joint operation by the security forces and police base on “specific input.”
Three point 32 pistols with magazines and one bike was recovered from the dealer, it said. The apprehended individual was handed over to Diphupar Police Station, Dimapur District for further investigations, it added.
