Three CBC Church leaders ordained

Dimapur, April 14 (MExN): The Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) today ordained three of its church leaders at CBCC Mission Centre, Pfutsero in the presence of CBCC pastors and host of delegates and well wishers from 95 CBCC churches.
A press note issued by Rev. Vezopa Tetseo, executive secretary, CBCC informed that the act of ordination was administered by Rev. K. Luruo, chairman of CBCC Ordination Committee in the presence of 25 ordained ministers laying hands on the newly ordained ministers namely Rev.  Nungoyi Khusoh, Rev. Kedoungulo Mero, and Rev. Dr. Yiepetso Wezah.
Rev. Nungoyi Khusoh hails from Khusomi Village, born on October 10, 1955, took baptism on July 21, 1971, and earned B.Th from Senate of Serampore after which he did M.Div from Oriental Theological Seminary. In his pastoral ministry for the last 20 years, he served as pastor in his native village during 1984-1991, CBC Dimapur (1997-2002). He married Sevole on December 14, 1976 and they are blessed with four sons and two daughters. He served the CBCC as its president from 2005-2010.
Rev. Kedoungulo Mero hails from Lekromi Village, born on May 10, 1963, took baptism on November 19, 1979. He did his BA from NEHU after which he earned BD from Union Biblical Seminary, Pune. Before joining full time ministry he served as Sr. Accountant, AG office (1985-1993). After his theological education he served as Lecturer OLTC (1998-99), Missionary Arunachal (1999-2000), Mission Director, CBCC (2001 till date), member ELN Baptist World Alliance (2007-2010), trained in Asian Cross cultural Training Institute, Singapore (2003). He married Wekoteu on December 17, 1998 and they are blessed with one daughter and two sons.
Rev. Dr. Yiepetso Wezah hails from Sumi Village, born on October 2, 1965, took baptism on January 21, 1979. He earned his Doctoral of Theology in Christian Ethics from Senate of Serampore University. He married Lhiwekou on November 3, 1995 and they are blessed with two sons and one daughter. He has been teaching at Baptist Theological College since 1987. He is currently serving as Principal of Baptist Theological College, T. Chikri, Pfutsero.
