Three Naga MMA fighters win medals at National Championship

Dimapur, March 27 (MExN): Arsenba Ozukum from Nagaland won gold in the Flyweight (56.7 kg) category at the Global Association for Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA) India national open selection held in Bangalore at Fiton Sports, Bengaluru from March 23 to 26.

Kekhrieneitso Angami and Mairidin Newmai also won silver in the Lightweight (70.3 kg) and Featherweight (65.8 kg) category respectively.

All athletes from all clubs, states and zones  were eligible to compete in the national open selection and the event was also the official selection for Team GAMMA-India for GAMMA Asian Championship scheduled to be held from July 21-26 in Kyrgyzstan.
