Three NCS officers from Nagaland promoted to IAS

New Delhi, September 11 (MExN): The Nagaland Civil Service officers have been appointed to Indian Administrative Service (IAS) on September 11 on probation, informed an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India.

The officers are Secretary Horticulture, Akumla Chuba; Commissioner and Secretary, Power Asangla Imti; and Tarep Imchen, listed as Additional  Secretary, Works & Housing in the Employee Directory of DPAR Nagaland. 

The President of India has appointed the three officers  from the State Civil Service of Nagaland to the Indian Administrative Service “against the vacancies determined by Government of India under Regulation 5(1) of the said Regulations in consultation with the State Government for the Select List of 2022 on probation until further orders,” stated a notification from the DoPT on Monday.  They officers have been allocated  to the Nagaland Cadre, under Rule 5(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, it added.
