Throttle Thrust II flagged off at Longmisa

The much awaited “Throttle Thrust II” motor rally organized by the Spearhead Motorsport Initiative flagged off today at Longrangdang, Longmisa, Mokokchung with more than thirty participants racing in two different categories on the first day.

The event was graced by C. Apok Jamir, Parliamentary Secretary, Tourism, Government of Nagaland, as the Chief Guest. 

“Motor rally is not only a sport but also a medium for propagating friendship and generating the spirit of adventurism, discovery and also developing good comradeship among various cultures and traditional background,” said Jamir in his address. He congratulated all the participants coming from different parts of the country for ensuring that there is peace, harmony and understanding among all sections of the community.  

The two day event will witness its final league of racing at Longmisa village ground where the racers will be competing in the Autocross category. Participants from Delhi, Meghalaya and Assam and also from Kohima and Dimapur are competing in the two day event.
