Phek, August 11 (MExN): Thupuvezo Keyho, steering Executive Member of NSCN (IM) Chakhesang Region who passed away on August 10, was laid to rest at his native Phek village today.
Sahichiyi Vezuh, Deputy Kilonser NSCN(IM) Chakhesang region, Chivozo Soho, Chairman Phek Village Council, Vekhopu Venuh, President Phekmi Collegiate Forum and others spoke at the funeral service held today at Mutsuba Kuhuba, Phek village.
Meanwhile, PSU President Kuthovo Chizo in a condolence message recalled that Late Thupuvezo Keyho served as president of PSU during 1993-94.
“The PSU shall always cherish the priceless services and sacrifice rendered towards the student’s community,” Chizo stated in a condolence message.
NSCN (IM) condoles
Meanwhile, the NSCN (IM) expressed grief over the untimely demise of Late Thepuvezo.
The NSCN (IM) in a condolence message issued by its MIP cell stated that Late Thepuvezo was a man who placed the Naga National interest above everything else and the void created by his demise would be difficult to fill in.
“For his selfless service rendered for the Naga nation, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifices ever be cherished by one and all,” it added.
The NSCN (IM) further conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to God to grant the bereaved soul eternal peace.
