Pfütsero, September 2 (MExN): Tewelhi Medo Tyrannus Hr Sec School (TMTHSS), Pfütsero on September 2 celebrated the canonisation of Mother Teresa, which is scheduled to take place on September 4.
A special get together was organised in the morning where students paid a tribute and homage to Mother Teresa with flowers and candles. A special song named ‘Pray’ was sung by the students dedicated to Mother Teresa.
In his Speech, the Principal, Reynald Pyngrope stressed to the students the need to become Mother Teresa by following the exemplary life of a saint of the gutters and an angel of peace. He further asked the students to extend alms to the poorest of the poor in situation that needs assistance and aid. Give but give until it hurts was his message to the staff and students.
“The simple path! The fruit of silence is prayer. The fruit of prayer is faith. The fruit of faith is love. The fruit of love is service. The fruit of service is peace,” he stated.
Homage, tribute and prayer were observed throughout the day.
