Dimapur, August 3 (MExN): The Thazuvi Nikiye Kiyezhe Xuvishe (TNKX) Union Dimapur, a conglomeration of four villages union has condemned the July 28, 2022 incident at Supermarket area in Dimapur where in “some friends had a brawl over a petty argument which turned ugly.
The TNKX Chairman, Kughalu Yeptho and Secretary, Atoka N Chophy in a press release claimed that ‘one member of their union suffered grievous injury in the brawl, thereafter succumbed to injury on July 30.’ Therefore, TNKX Union Dimapur has appealed to the authority concerned to award deserving punishment to the person involved in the crime.
“The quantum of punishment should be such that it sets as an example to the accused so as to deter from doing such crime in future,” the union demanded. Meanwhile, it also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and “pray that God give them the strength and comfort to overcome the agony that they are going through.”
