Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton along with NFHRCC members during their meeting at his Official Residential Office, Kohima on December 5.

Dimapur, December 7 (MExN): Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton has assured the NFHRCC members to explore the ground reality at the earliest in keeping the foothills road pliable at least during the winter season.
Patton reportedly gave the assurance when a team of NFHRCC members had called on him at his Official Residential Office, Kohima on December 5 and “apprised him of the urgency in keeping the foothills road pliable at least during the winter season in the greater interest of Naga Public.”
“The Dy CM was very positive and assured us of directing concerned department to explore the ground reality at the earliest and also will consult with the Chief Minister as well since it will require additional budgetary involvement,” informed a press release from NFHRCC.
In this connection, the Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) will convene another emergency meeting on December 9 at its base Office,Kher Mahal, Dimapur, it said.
All tribal members are requested to attend the meeting positively.
