Mon, January 27 (MExN): The leaders of Tobu and Mopong held a joint consultative meeting on January 26 after the Republic Day celebration in Tobu.
The house reaffirmed its stand for reversion of Mopong EAC hq from Angjangyang SDO (C) to ADC Tobu administration.
A press release from SA Ngamlao, President, KU (B) Tobu and A Yangkon Konyak President, KU (B) Mopong stated that a meeting has been convened on January 28 with the Commissioner and the Chairman of the Committee to deliberate on the issue.
While appreciating the initiative of the government by setting up a committee to deliberate on the matter, the leaders of Tobu and Mopong reminded that if the committee fails to deliver justice and respect the democratic will of the people, the “leaders of the two circles will be compelled to take further course of action.” In case of any untoward incident, the leaders will not be held responsible, the release added.
