Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) ward No- 17 councillor Khrielievi Chiisi today kicked start an extensive social work at Upper Agri colony under the theme “Together for clean & sustainable environment.”
“Today’s social work is just a beginning. In the next step, we will go for facelift and painting of walls for beautification,” Chiisi said, who is deputy chairperson of KMC.
Our intension is to keep our colony hygienic, clean air and clean environment, he said and sought the support of the colony panchayat, youth and the residents of the colony.
Meanwhile, the social work will also be carried out at Agri farm, Electrical, Mewibogie and Forest colony in a phase-wise manner.
