CHÜMOUKEDIMA, MARCH 23 (MExN): The Department of Fashion Technology at The Global Open University Nagaland (TOGUN) organised its 10th Annual Fashion Show on March 21 at the WCBCC Mission Centre in Kozabe Village.
Themed "Celestial Fever," the event celebrated the fusion of style, creativity, and diversity, attracting fashion enthusiasts, industry professionals, and talented designers from far and wide, informed a TOGUN release.
The show transported attendees into the enchanting realm of cosmic designs, inspired by supernatural and heavenly bodies, and served as a canvas for emerging designers from the Department to exhibit their talent and innovation amd marking them as the future vanguards of the fashion industry, it said.
Atsung Sangtam, Manager & Entrepreneurship Trainer at ESB Incubation Centre and Founder of Linkgo, and Kavili Swu Kiba, Vice President of the Nagaland Designers' Association (NDA) and fashion designer, were judges of the event.
Chingmei Konyak was conferred the Best Design (2021 Batch), while Genevieve Awomi received the Best Garment Construction (2021 Batch).
Chairmen and youth presidents of Sodzulhou and Kozabe Village, Dimapur Naga Student's Union (DNSU) President, and the Head GB of Pukhato Village also graced the event.
The event also featured a welcome address by Dr. Roopam Bachhil, Registrar, followed by the release of the Look book by Dr. HN Dutta, Vice Chancellor of TGOUN.
