Parliamentary Secretary for Municipal Affairs and Economic & Statistics R. Tohanba today inaugurated Teka Imti Memorial Children Park at Sangto Christian School, Chessore. Speaking on the occasion, Tohanba said that Sangto Christian School is a heritage educational institution which was the first school in Yimchunger area. It was set up in 1946. Presently it runs upto class 10. He said this children park was constructed in memory of Teka Imti, first SIS in Yimchunger area in 50's.
This children park is the first of its kind in school in Yimchunger area, constructed by DUDA 2015_16. He said apart from many areas, human resource development is the most important component to march forward. In this he called upon the people to change their mindset and attitude and give maximum attention towards rapid growth of education for a social well being.
