Winners of the Tokhu Emong Open Badminton Championship held in Wokha.
WOKHA, NOVEMBER 5 (MExN): The Wokha District Badminton Association (WDBA) organised the Tokhu Emong Open Badminton Championship 2021 at indoor badminton stadium Wokha on the theme ‘Celebrate in Unity.’

The men’s single champion was Zuchobemo (Apiro) Odyuo whose award was sponsored by Lankonsen Tsanglao, ADC, Wokha HQ. The runner up was Thungbemo Lotha whose prize was sponsored by Chonpenthung Ezung, SDO (C), Wokha.
In the men’s doubles category Shanchothung and Renjamo yanthan won the championship sponsored by K Mhonthung Tungoe, Assistant Director of Food & Civil Supply Wokha. The runners up were Thungbemo and Renben whose prize was sponsored by Yanbemo Ovung, District Land Record & Survey Officer Wokha.
In the veteran’s category, Cyrus James Tungoe and K Mhonthung Tungoe were the winners. Their prize was sponsored by Albert Patton, BDO, Wokha Block. The runners up were Nongothung and Robert who received prizes sponsored by Zuthunglo Ezung District Employment Officer, Wokha.
