Tongpang to constitute Angetyongpang development board

Advisor, Water Resources, Tongpang Ozukum today announced that 24th Angetyongpang Assembly Constituency Development Board will be constituted to work for overall development of Angetyongpang area.

There will be representatives from all the villages and town wards within Angetyongpang area in the development board, Ozukum said at the thanksgiving programme held in his official residence in Kohima.

He also assured to help the civil services aspirant from the constituency by opening a hostel in Kohima to facilitate coaching classes to the students.  Ozukum further informed that an ambulance service has been already started for the people of the constituency.

He thanked Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, NDPP president Chingwang Konyak, NDPP secretary general Abu Metha and NDPP vice president Rusemtong Longkumer for having trust and confidence in him and allotting the party ticket in the recently concluded election.  Ozukum also thanked the people of the constituency for having trust on him and electing him to the 14th House of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.

S. Lepzung Pongen, Akangmeren Pongen, N. Toshi Chang, Tinumangyang, S. Senka Jamir, Joint Director Horticulture and representative from Ungma Senso Union, Kohima also spoke at the programme.

Mongsenyimti tsiir Telongjem, Kohima presented a folk song.

Imsumanen Ozukum, president, Mongsenyimti Senso Union Kohima chaired the programme while welcome address was delivered by Chuba Ozukum, Consultant, Dept of Law & Justice, Govt. of Nagaland.

Vote of thanks was proposed by I. Meyionen Jamir, Chief Information Commissioner Nagaland.
