Tourism dept bids farewell to outgoing director

The Directorate of Tourism today accorded a befitting farewell to the outgoing director, Akhale Vizol in a function held here this afternoon.
Speaking on the occasion, Nagaland’s tourism and art & culture advisor H Khehovi Yeputhomi praised the ongoing director Akhale for her creativity and sincerity towards her work.
Yeputhomi also lauded her efforts wherein the department received the most prestigious Oversea Travel Mart Excellence Award.
Getting such recognition in the national level is commendable, he said.
Further, he wished her a successful and happy retirement life.
Nagaland’s tourism additional secretary, Martha R Ritse described Akhale as a hardworking officer, who always desire to get the work done with efficiency.
She also complimented the outgoing director for initiating the Ist North East Tour Operators Meet, which took place in Kohima recently.
Tourism deputy director, Veyielo Doulo informed that the “Best Employee of the Year Award” within the department have been introduced under the directorship of Akhale.
“Your good deed will always be remembered,” he said.
Nagaland Tourism Association, president David Solo, senior tourist officer Moatemsu, executive engineer (tourism) Er. T. Patton and deputy director Keduosieu Metha also spoke on the occasion.
Akhale in her address thanked each and every individual for their support, cooperation and prayer, which she said, contributed to her successful and memorable journey in the department.
She urged upon the staff to enjoy their works and always remember that “Work is worship.”
Earlier, the function was chaired by tourism’s additional director Ajanuo Belho.
