BJP Candidate for 1 Dimapur - I A/C on Sunday assured of strong protection to the rights and privileges of the minorities in the constituency if elected to power.
Stating that minorities formed a large group of people in 1 Dimapur – I constituency, Tovihoto said that their welfare would be looked into by the BJP which he expressed confidence would be a part of the ruling in the next state government.
Addressing a huge public gathering at Railway Bazaar, Ward no 6, he said that the developmental needs of the ward would be given due importance from roads and sanitation to food security and healthcare facilities. He said various other developmental projects which remain incomplete would be completed with the help of the public and appealed them to cast their valuable vote in his favour.
NDPP State Vice President, Tokheli Kikon; NDPP Dimapur District President, Kughato Aye; BJP 1 Dimapur – I Election incharge, H.K. Khulu; BJP Dimapur District President, Bendang; Ward no 6 BJP Convenor, P. Avi and a host of other leaders including, Thong, addressed the gathering and appealed the electors to support BJP candidate, Tovihoto Ayemi.
Later, the candidate addressed public gathering at Netaji and Mustimuk colonies.
