Unlike the last five years, the next tenure of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly will have a stable government with the strong alliance formed between NDPP and BJP, said Tovihoto Ayemi, BJP candidate for 1 Dimapur – I A/C.
He was addressing a public meeting at ward number 5 near Fire Brigade Station on Friday. He said that the BJP manifesto assures of a stable government and to sincerely work for peace, progress and development.
Good roads, proper healthcare facilities, food security, old age homes, youth and women empowerment were among the top priorities of the party, Tovihoto added. He thanked the electors for their constant support and appealed them to cast their valuable franchise in his favour.
BJP Dimapur district president, Bendang said that the BJP government at the centre was free of corruption and exuded confidence that the party will be a part of government formation in the state.
Former DMC Councillor, Kuhoi Zhimo appealed to the public not to get mixed up between a political party and religion. He said no party or government could force a citizen to change his/her religion and added that BJP believed in secularism.
Director of Salt Christian College Dimapur, Dr. Panger and colony leaders also addressed the gathering.
