
Morung Express News Dimapur | December 15 The second day of the popular annual Dimapur Night Carnival opened with a grand KTM stunt show which was flagged off by MLA & Chairman NIDC Ltd, Tovihoto Ayemi on Thursday at Naga Shopping Arcade, Dimapur. The show was a crowd puller as the stunt performers did breathtaking shows and the crowd kept demanding for more. The stunt rides and tricks were performed by professionals on KTM Bikes. The crowd was advised not to perform the stunts at home or anywhere else. Earlier, speaking at a brief programme, Tovihoto lauded the organizers for the yearly success of the Dimapur Night Carnival which he said was the biggest event in Dimapur. He encouraged them to continue organizing the carnival so that it continues to provide a platform for the entrepreneurs and the people to come and have quality time. Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of the carnival, DNC Convenor, Hokivi Chishi said the response of the people were more than other years. It was informed that more than 300 stalls have been set up this year. The organizers are also picking a lottery every night since the first day. On the first day, the lucky lottery number 1838 was announced by Parliamentary Secretary for Toursim, C. Apok Jamir. Tovihoto announced the lucky lottery number 1665 by randomly picking it from a bucket on the second day. Lucky winners of the first two days will walk away with a Scooty each. The lottery is priced at Rs 500 valid for 5 days of the Carnival. Two bikes and Nissan Car remains for the last three days. Interested persons have been informed to buy lottery ticket from the venue near The Garden.
