Toyota Hornbill Music Festival 2022 from December 1 to 10

Toyota Hornbill Music Festival will take place from December 1 to 10 at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama. It will take place daily at 4:00 pm.

“This year’s edition will feature 24 bands from the country including Tiny Fingers from Israel,” said Abu Metha, Advisor to Chief Minister while addressing a press conference at RCEMPA, Jotsoma.

On behalf of Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), Metha conveyed special thanks to Embassy of Israel for their support and making the band visit possible.

The Hornbill Music Festival will also highlight special Israel Photo Exhibition under the theme– Transcending Jerusalem through Indian Lances at Bamboo Hall from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm from December 2 to 10.

As part of our partnership with TATA Steel Foundation’s SAMVAAD Festival - the biggest folk music Festival in the country, Rhythms of the Earth (ROTE) will perform at the main stage on 8th December and at Night Bazaar on 9th Evening, and is supported by KCCI, Metha informed.

For the first time, the Hornbill Music Festival will be initiating a ‘Festival Out Reach program’, the initiative is being sponsored by JK TRUST Raymond, Mumbai.

The festival will also be hosting music workshops in partnership with Embassy of Colombia in India, Culture Monks and Indian Performing Rights Society and N.E.R.D.

The Hornbill Music Festival will introduce pay per view from 2-9 December for those who cannot attend but would like to witness the concerts.
