The seventh day of Toyota Hornbill Music Festival 2024 at Kisama on December 7 as part of 25th Hornbill Festival 2024 featured Samvaad- A tribal conclave (Enabled by Tata Steel Foundation) Rhythms of the Earth, The Prophets, KL Pamei, Blue Temptation and DJ Ina.

An iconic celebration of music, culture, and togetherness, promises yet another unforgettable evening on its eighth day (December 8).

Music lovers and culture enthusiasts will be treated to an eclectic mix of performances featuring both international and local talent.

The evening will open with a soulful performance by a local choir, showcasing Nagaland’s rich vocal traditions. It will include NCMFA singers, The Nagaland Madrigal singers, Kithagha Union Baptist Church Choir, Eirene choir, Celestial voices- Bethel Baptist Church Tseminyu. Their harmonious renditions will set the tone for an evening celebrating diversity and unity through music.

Following this, acclaimed Welsh musician Gareth Bonello, known for blending folk traditions with modern storytelling, will take the stage. His music, deeply rooted in the beauty of nature and human connection, will offer an emotional and immersive experience.

Next, celebrated singer-songwriter Abdon Mech, a rising star from Nagaland, will captivate audiences with his heartfelt lyrics and smooth melodies. His performance will highlight the vibrant talent emerging from the Northeast of India.

The grand finale will feature Ricky Kej, India’s Grammy Award-winning composer and environmentalist.

Known for his symphonic masterpieces and global collaborations, Kej will mesmerize the audience with his inspiring compositions that promote harmony and sustainability.
