TR inaugurates 10 day multimedia exhibition at Naga Heritage Village

Kohima, December 1 (MExN): The Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, T R Zeliang, inaugurated a 10-day Multimedia Exhibition at the Naga Heritage Village in Kohima today. The event, organized by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, aims to showcase the various flagship schemes and policies of the Government of India, as well as the nation’s progress towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.

In his address, Kripa Shankar Yadav, Additional Director General of the CBC, highlighted the primary goal of the exhibition: to inform the public about key government initiatives through innovative multimedia and digital experiences. Visitors will be able to learn about government policies and benefits through technologies such as augmented reality, virtual reality, sound showers, and digital puzzles.

The exhibition also features a display of both antique and modern equipment from Akashvani Kohima, offering a glimpse into the evolution of broadcasting in the region.

In addition to the exhibition, a series of cultural activities, including a folk dance competition, storytelling sessions, and quizzes focused on the government’s flagship programs, will take place over the next ten days. Prizes will be awarded to winners of these competitions. The exhibition is expected to attract large numbers of visitors who can deepen their understanding of the central government’s initiatives and their role in shaping the future of India.
