MOKOKCHUNG, DECEMBER 11 (MExN): The Additional Superintendent of Police and PRO Mokokchung has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the Night Carnival organized by the Adventure and Motorsports Association Mokokchung (AMAM) at Mokokchung Town from the main Police Point to Rotary Junction. The event will take place from December 12 to 14, 2024, between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM.
In light of this, traffic regulation will be implemented from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM during the same period. Vehicles coming from Amguri, Mokokchung village, and Hospital Road will be diverted toward Town Hall and Longkumer Kilem (gas agency). There will be no entry from the main Police Point to Rotary Junction, New Market to Longkumer Kilem, or Yongpanh Market toward DC Hill and SBI Main Branch.
Additionally, parking will be restricted from the main Police Point to Rotary Junction. One-way vehicle entry will be allowed from Rotary Junction to the main Police Point, with ambulances and emergency vehicles exempted from these restrictions.
