•-The traffic problems in Kohima is very depressing and going bad to worst. The concerned traffic police are not bothered with the problem as they are happy with life as it is appears. Illegal parking at narrow road is very common the whole day, even on Sunday. Due to wrongful parking other vehicles cannot pass and jams happen. Sometimes scratches happen on others vehicles due to the offenders of the illegal parking.
The administration and police are regular in issuing the notice for the benefit of public. And they also warn to punish the persons. But these toothless warnings are not cared as every body is aware that these are the paper tigers. The vehicles are very fancy with shining number plates. Some are in gold and some are in stainless steel and some are in silver so we cannot see the number sometimes. Sometimes the silver and golden plates blind us by reflection from the Sun. Some vehicles do not have a number plate as one or the other is missing. Now it is also seen that the number plates are used to advertise vehicle type as SAFARI or probably guitar type as FENDER. All this is possible because this is Nagaland and here we do as we wish. The paper tigers do not have teeth to bite.
