Kohima, March 6 (MExN): A one-day training on GST, TDS, TCC for DDOs and Tax Deductors for Kohima based government department and registered contactors was conducted by the Department of State Taxes at the conference hall of the Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts, Kohima on March 4.
The training initiative by the Taxes Department was aimed at effective GST implementation and understanding amongst the government department and registered contractors.
A DIPR report stated that the resource persons of the training, Yarenthung Yanthan, Assistant Commissioner of State Taxes, and Commercial State Tax Officers, Merenkaba and Vizayie Kar spoke on the topic, “Registration, Return Filling and Payment, OMs and Notices, and Tax clearance certificates.”
The programme was attended by around 200 participants. Deputy Commissioner of State Taxes Kohima, Vekhozo Dozo, proposed the welcome and keynote address, while Assistant Commissioner of State Taxes, Remasangla delivered the vote of thanks.
