Zunheboto: A two days training on animal health care cum vaccination camp was held at Shotomi village on March 14 with ADC Zunheboto, Nungsangmenla as chief guest. The programme was held under special programme for environment and economic development (SPEED) and organized by department of land resources, Zunheboto.
The programme started with placing of community waste bins followed by training programme with Dr Samuel Sumi as the resource person. The topics for the training included, management practices on livestock and awareness of Zoonotic diseases in relation to public health. The department also vaccinated livestock animals and distributed medicines to the villagers.
The programme was chaired by Kekong Yimchungru, facilitator (SPEED) WDT (M), LRD, Zunheboto; invocation was said by Shikheto, pastor, Shoto village; welcome address by Inakhe, Village council Chairman; and short speech by Levi, District Project Officer, Land Resources, Zunheboto.
