Training for charge census officers in Dimapur ends

Dimapur, February 29 (MExN): Two-day training of District and Charge Census Officers, Dimapur district culminated on February 29 at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall.

The training was conducted by six resource persons (officials) from the Directorate of Census, Kohima headed by its Director, Tridibesh Roy, lAS. 

DC, Dimapur Anoop Khinchi, lAS in his keynote address acknowledged the team for their effort and emphasized on the importance of the census operation and encouraged the responsible officers to actively participate in the training. 

Director, Tridibesh Roy, lAS presented the introduction of the Census 2021 and National Population Register (NPR) and overall glimpse of the census operation.

Resource persons Surajit Dey Master Trainer, MN Roy Chowdhury, Nodal Officer Census Mon district and Kumar Satyam, Nodal Officer Census, Dimapur district from the Directorate of Census Operations gave PowerPoint presentation on various topics on Census. 

The programme was attended by the Deputy Commissioner & Principal Census Officer, Dimapur, Additional Deputy Commissioner & District Census Officer and all Administrative Officers who are charge officers for their respective jurisdictions.
