Training for community leaders in Dimapur concludes

Dimapur, July 10 (MExN): The two-day training programme for community leaders to equip them with skills and knowledge on how to protect themselves and the community from COVID-19 concluded in Dimapur on July 10.


The training organised by CIHSR in collaboration with Dimapur District Administration and DMC Dimapur was held at Lotha Hoho Ki and Commissioner Taxes Conference hall.


Addressing the participants on the second day, the Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi, IAS stressed on the need and importance of wearing mask, hand washing and maintaining physical distancing as the only option for fighting Corona virus.

 

According to a DIPR report, the DC addressed the participants in both the locations on July 10.


He encouraged all the participants reminding them that they were representatives from their community and advised them to replicate whatever they learned during the training in their own community. The DC also stressed on helping each other by monitoring whether the other person was complying with the preventive measures and practices.
