DIMAPUR, MAY 26 (MExN): A day- long training and interactive session on ‘Integrated Fish farming’ for fish farmers was held at Aitlenden Community Hall, Tuli.

During the training, resource person Neken Kichu, Asstistant Fishery Inspector, Mokokchung spoke about integrated fish and livestock farming, composite fish farming method and the importance of pond management.

He observed that Naga fish farmers practices very poor pond management while stating that the only solution for farmers is to shelve the old traditional farming and practice proper pond management.

Altogether 87 beneficiaries, individuals and SHGs attended the training.

The training program was organised by Community Educational Centre Society under its flagship program Integrated Tribal Development Fund, supported by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Regional Office Dimapur.
