Training for newly recruits under Mkg district underway

Mokokchung, April 3 (DIPR): Sponsored by the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India and organized by the Administrative Training Institute, Kohima, in collaboration with District Administration, Mokokchung, a two week Induction Training Programme for the newly recruited group “B & C” government employees under Mokokchung district began on April 3 at Commissioner’s Guest House, Mokokchung.  

Speaking at the inaugural function as the guest of honour, Secretary to the Government of Nagaland & Director ATI, Lithrongla G. Chishi IAS described the group “B & C” employees as the front face of the government who deals directly with the people. She urged the trainees to take the training seriously to make a difference and bring about a change in the working system thereby bringing up the image of their own respective offices. She also maintained that all the government servants, including technical employees, need to go for such trainings in order to build-up capacity building and governance system. “Unless you are in the system, you do not know whether you are doing good or not,” she added.  

Welcome address was delivered by Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Sushil Kumar Patel, IAS while introduction to the programme was given by ADC & Nodal Officer for ITP Mokokchung District, SachinJaiswal IAS. The programme was chaired by SDO (C) Lemlila T. Sangtam.
