Block Level ToTs with others during the training held at Tethuyo village, Longmatra Block.
Longmatra, February 21 (MExN): Three-day ‘In-house’ training on Community Based Organization (CBO) sub-committee for Executive Committee, Model Cluster Level Federation, Longmatra Block was held at Tethuyo village, Longmatra Block from February 18 to 20.
This training programme was specifically designed for members of the sub-committee within the CBOs who are part of Executive Committee (EC) under MCLF to equip with necessary skills to effectively manage and implement the MCLF programme, a press release received here stated.
Block Level ToTs from the BMMU staff Longmatra block were the resource person. During the training, ToTs were divided into different topics and helps participants understand the need of sub-committee at the Village and Block level.
The training tailored to individuals, specifically serving on subcommittee within CBOs which includes finance, monitoring, social developments etc. The participants were made understand the roles and responsibilities of CBO Sub-committee, MCLF Structure and Governance, financial management, project planning and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, conflict resolution and consensus Building, the process of collective analysis and decision making.
To serve as an illustrative example for understanding the vital roles of sub-committee in overall governance, ball games, cloth challenge game, balloon games were also played during the training.
Earlier on day one, introductory session and welcome note was delivered by Atsope, BPM Longmatra Block, Lotsala, Bank Sakhi said the invocation followed by a Micro-lab exercise.
The training concluded with feedback and post training assessment from the participants and vote of thanks by Horiba, AC-IBCB.
