Longleng, July 7 (MExN): One-day district level training on Social Awareness and Action to Neutralize Pneumonia (SAANS) was conducted at CMO conference hall, Longleng on July 6.
The programme was attended by Dr Obangjungla, CMO Longleng, Dr Meren Phom, District Program Officer, RCH/UIP, Medical Officer, Community Health Officer, GNMs and ANMs from the health units of all the three blocks of Longleng district and also DPM and DCM from District Program Management Unit, CMO office.
Dr Obangjungla in her introductory note highlighted the important role the medical staff plays for the wellbeing and growth of the community. Dr Meren Phom DPO, RCH/UIP delivered the orientation while Dr James Lingshau Phom, MO Yachem Health Unit was the resource person for the training.
