Dimapur, January 10 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur has informed all polling officials appointed for the forthcoming urban local bodies’ election that the first round of training will be held on January 12 at Dimapur Government College at the following time: 11:00 am onwards – Presiding Officers & 1st polling officials; 1:30 pm onwards – 2nd and 3rd polling officials. The DC further informed that the second and third phase of training has been tentatively scheduled to be held on January 20 and 27 respectively. Any changes will be intimated later, he said in a press release.
Meanwhile, training for presiding officers and polling officials of the Phek Town Council election 2017 will be held on January 17 and 27 at 10:00 am in the conference hall of Phek Town Council. The Deputy Commissioner of Phek has informed the master trainers of Chozuba, Meluri and Pfutsero Town Councils to attend the training positively.
