Pungro, November 3 (MExN): A training program aimed at enhancing the skills of construction workers concluded successfully at GB's Hall in Pungro Town on October 31.
The initiative, organized by the Public Forum Pungro Sub-Division and supported by the Skill Proficiency Management for Building and Other Construction Workers, was part of the Advanced Training of Trainers (ToT) 2nd phase for the year 2023-2024.
The programme, which spanned ten days, benefited 100 skilled construction trainees who were guided by trainers from the Zynorique Initiative Society in Kohima. Upon completion, the trainees received certificates along with essential tools and machinery to aid them in their future endeavors.
The Public Forum Pungro Sub-Division expressed gratitude to the Nagaland government, particularly Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, and MLA & Advisor S Kiusumew of 60 A/C Pungro-Kiphire, as well as the Department of Labour and the Zynorique Initiative Society, for their support in facilitating this training program.
