Training programme on packaging for export of food, handcraft concludes

Trainees after the completion of the two day training on packaging for export of food, handloom & handicraft products of Nagaland at Peren.

PEREN, JUNE 16 (MExN): Two days training program on "Packaging for export of food, handloom & handicraft products of Nagaland" was held on June 14 & 15. The programme was jointly organised by the district administration, Indian Institute of Packaging & ATMA Peren district. 

The valedictory program was chaired by C Dory Yanthan, who expressed her appreciation to Deputy Commissioner Peren for conceiving such a unique program which is rarely conducted in the state. An inspiring feedback messages from the participants were delivered by Sheela Gangmei, Calvin Zeliang, Athuana and Lipokjungla Ozukum. 

Remarks by the resource person was shared by Dr Asitava Sur, guest faculty, IIP, Kolkata wherein he expressed encouraged the participants to adopt standardized packing system so as not to compromise with the competitive business world. He also assured to assist all possible help in whatever way feasible. 

Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar, in his speech, encouraged all the participants to venture into entrepreneurship as Peren district has many potential. He also reassured to extend any help possible from his end. Certificate was also distributed to all the participants. 

Meanwhile, DPD ATMA, Tonikali Achumi conveyed her profound gratitude to the organising committee and the participants, who came all the way from far flung area of Peren district with hunger to assimilate knowledge. She also expressed her happiness for the concern shown by the ATMA Cell Kohima by attending the inaugural program.
