
Dimapur, July 21 (MExN): The Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland State (IRCSN) branch will be conducting a three days training on Disaster Response for Red Cross volunteers and members of the Youth Red Cross from July 25 to 27 at the Conference Hall, Red Cross Office, Kohima. A press note issued by Zakie Kire, general secretary, IRCSN stated that the resource persons will be from the National Disaster Response Force, HQ Guwahati, and the Home Guards & Civil Defense, Kohima, Nagaland. The training will cover topics on First Aid, Emergency Rescue Methods, use of fire extinguishers and other equipments, use of ropes and methods of lashing, etc. The training will commence from 9:30 am sharp. All the Red Cross volunteers attending the training are therefore requested to reach the venue on time.
