Kohima, May 29 (MExN): The Nagaland Bharat Scouts and Guides is currently conducting its basic course for Scout Masters and Guide Captains at the State Training Centre, Nerhema under the leadership of R Albert Solo, State training Commissioner (Scout) and I Amenla Soyah, State Training Commissioner (Guides).
55 school teachers from Kohima, Dimapur, Tuensang, Wokha, Longleng and Mokokchung are taking part in the training, which began of May 24 and will conclude on May 30.
According to R Albert Solo, the trainees are being trained on the basic skills of Scouting and Guiding, to efficiently run a unit, to bring up young boys and girls under various disciplines, to make them active and responsible citizens of the country.
Altogether, 73 campers including trainees, course trainees and state headquarter staffs are in the ongoing course.
