Mokokchung, December 2 (MExN): One day workshop of training of trainers on Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) was held at Ongpangkong Salang, Mokokchung on December 2.
The resource person of the workshop was Dr Kika Longkumer from the Directorate of Health and Family welfare, Kohima. RSBY is a Government scheme to provide health insurance coverage to the unorganised sector workers belonging to the BPL category and their family members shall be beneficiaries under the scheme.
The workshop was attended by Dr Kibangkumba Dy. CMO, Block Medical officers, DCM, Chairman and Secretary of all the wards, VCC and Secretary of Village, BAC and ASHAs. The welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Akaba longchar CMO, Mokokchung.
